This is the period when it all started as we began working together at a local ecommerce agency. We loved each other's company as much as our professional growth. This was a crucial time in our careers as we got to work with the most competent and seasoned Magento developers. We collaborated on a variety of projects, including worldwide brands and websites. We learned and evolved ourselves into skilled professionals. This is the time when we received our first professional (Magento) certifications.
Although involved in Magento 1 projects at that time, we were very passionate Magento 2 followers! As early adapters, we wanted to create a website with screencasts and courses on Magento 2 development. That is where the term MageClass (Magento Classroom) originated. Here's a preview of the course, which unfortunatelly has never been released.
The year 2016 was a turning point in our careers as we ventured into unfamiliar territory. We wanted to master Magento 2 and experimented with the idea of remote work. A New Zealand-based company, Ecommistry, offered us remote senior positions, which we accepted. During our tenure at Ecommistry, we worked for the most famous brands from the Australia/New Zealand market and excelled in our careers. As a team, we explored many avenues to prove our skills as technical leaders while meeting and solving the most demanding e-Commerce challenges.
The next step in our professional career came after six years when we decided to launch our startup - a small eCommerce development studio, highly specialised in Adobe Commerce. We wanted to maximize our efforts to facilitate our clients and sought ways to learn, improve, and upscale our technical skills and endeavors.
