Luxary Watches, Accessories and Jewelry Marketplace | Technical Consultant

• Project Discovery & Architecture - worked with the client and their development team to identify customer jorneys. Conducted the whole discovery phase to lay the groundwork for the development phase.
• Helped with identifying the functionalities for the MVP, and high-level scope for future releases. Identified three different pools of work, one for sellers, one for customers, and one for the merchant team.
• Worked on deciding the right technology for the project: Adobe Commerce and Unirgy Marketplace Suite on the backend, and two different applications on the frontend: Custom React application and PWA Studio.
• Helped with work organisation, managing the backlog, providing answers to technical questions and doing code reviews.
• Worked with the hosting company to choose the right environment for the client, and prepare the procedures for development and deployment workflows.

Zencart to Magento 2 Migration for Canadian retailer of power tools, woodworking, metalworking | Technical Lead

• Database Migration - implemented console scripts to migrate all the customer, catalog and sales data from Zencart to Adobe Commerce.
• Code Migration - worked on rewritting and migrating their old codebase into the latest, modern and reliable Adobe Commerce code.
• Helped in developing a shiny new Adobe Commerce theme and dozen custom extensions on the backend, to achieve the same look and feel as the client's old Zencart website.
• Integration with the ERP - developed a custom extension to connect Adobe Commerce with their ERP, source of truth for all the data, including products, customers and inventory across the entire network of their stores.
• Delivered a game changer improvement - full featured main website search, that allows customers to find interesting products, categories and articles in incredibly fast way

• Daily support with the backend (GraphQL) feature and improvements for PWA Studio frontend framework

• Created a new shipping method to enhance the integration with Australia Post. Implemented live rates at the checkout phase, and the process for generating shipping labels and consignments in the order fulfilment phase.
